5 Unusual Waterfalls Around the World

There are many waterfalls around the world that provide a spectacular view. But some just are so unusual that they should  definitely make it to your bucket list.

Here are five such breathtaking waterfalls:

1.  Bigar Cascade falls, Romania


This pretty waterfall, falling from a moss covered cliff of the Anina Mountains, is silk for the photography enthusiasts. It is one among the many amazing waterfalls of the Cheile Nerei-Beusnita National Park, which also contains the blue Ochiul Beiului Lake.

2.  Under Water Waterfall, Mauritius

This absolutely stunning waterfall provides visuals looking off of the island and out into the waters prove incredible, all of the colors splash together to create a whirlwind of activity and life. The number of underwater coral reefs here continue to grow and flourish, providing divers with an unmatched view of underwater life.

3. Batara Gorge Waterfall, Lebanon

This waterfall drops (837 ft) into the Baatara Pothole, a cave of Jurassic limestone located on the Lebanon Mountain Trail.

4. Frozen Water falls at Banf, Alberta 

Doesn’t this feel like a scene of the frozen movie! Marvelous indeed.

5.  Horizontal Falls, Australia 

The Horizontal Falls or Horizontal Waterfalls (nicknamed the “Horries”) is the name given to a natural phenomenon on the coast of the Kimberley region in Western Australia.
