    1. Alberobello, Italy

Located in the south eastern part of Italy, this charming village  features huts made of dry stone and a conical roof known as the trulli. This village has about 10,700 inhabitants according to Wikipedia.

2. Popeye Village, Malta

Popeye Village, also known as Sweethaven Village, is a group of rustic and ramshackle wooden buildings located at Anchor Bay in the north-west corner of the Mediterranean island of Malta. It has grown from its days as a Film Set of the 1980 Musical Production ‘Popeye’ into one of the major tourist attractions in Malta.

3. Juzcar,Spain 

This village that is painted in blue and has become a major destination for all wold travelers that are visiting Spain. In 2011, this village became the first and only official Smurfs village in the world. Life in the Smurfs village flows as slowly as ever, and the narrow windy streets, bright blue walls, gentle locals, and time-honored traditions still retain their original Andalusian charm, only with a touch of color.

4. Floating Village, Vietnam

Located in the Ha Long bay, this village is a home to people who have been living here for a very long period of time. The main occupation of the people here is fishing. A magically calm place, that helps you get away from the rat race of life.

5. Shirakawa, Japan

Located in a mountainous region this village for a long period of time, these villages with their Gassho-style houses subsisted on the cultivation of mulberry trees and the rearing of silkworms.
